Location: Paris, HQ.
Salary: 45 000 - 50 000 euros yearly, depending on experience
Job Overview:
The Asset Manager (AM) will lead the process of ensuring all commitments are met within the framework of contracts regarding Driveco’s SPVs and a portfolio of CPO operating stations and the pipeline under deployment.
The AM’s primary objective is to act as a nexus and coordinator among all teams, ensuring the transmission of information to all relevant stakeholders in order to achieve the business results as per the Business plan.
Under the responsibility of the Head of Asset Management, the junior AM works closely with the finance, legal, tech and operations teams.
Your missions 🚀
Supervision of the performance of stations in coordination with the Operations Department:
- Regular monitoring and analysis of the operational and financial performance of assets through reports intended to the EXCO and shareholders;
- Market positioning analysis and competitive analysis;
- Propose and supervise financial and operational performance enhancing (technical, commercial, or marketing) operations;
- Deliver on-demand cross-functional, strategic, competitive or regulatory studies or benchmarks;
- Define pricing recommendations and deploy the pricing strategy roadmap;
- Support the definition and improvement of all processes revolving around stations in operations (Contract management repository, stations’s data-rooms, etc.), ensuring robustness and scalability.
Budget definition and management, and action plans for EV charging stations and SPVs:
- Preparation, approval and monitoring of the annual budget and strategy (for assets and the SPVs),
- Implementation and follow-up of the action plan in accordance with the Business Plan and asset strategy.
Transversal management of SPVs in coordination with the Finance, Marketing and Legal Departments:
- Contribute and coordinate financial aspects (revenue collection, fixed and variable leases calculations for landlords, accounts, cash-flow, annual audits, tax filings),
- Monitoring the SPVs legal and operational commitments:
- Management of the rights and obligations of the SPVs under various project contracts (EPC, O&M, AM – including identifying negotiations levers to optimize business-cases);
- Business-case definition and renegotiation of Lease agreements with Landlords;
- Support the Deployment team to optimize the stations configuration, deployment priorities, to maximize value-creation opportunities.
- Contribute and monitor with all administrative (General Assemblies) and legal (company law, legal formalities, litigation procedures) aspects.
Energy management:
- Support the optimization of electricity sourcing (RFP, contract negotiation), hedging strategy, and related initiatives (costs analysis, curtailment, etc.)
Preferred Experience
👩💻 Hard Skills
- Fluency in English. An additional European language would be a plus (French, Spanish, Italian).
- Preferably a finance/economics student/graduate,
- Junior or confirmed professional experience (internships, short contracts, in asset management or front business units, within any sector. Energy/Infrastructure/Real estate experience would be a plus),
- Appetite and skills to process large data-sets with a critical business-oriented mindset,
- Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced IT skills (Excel, PowerBI…)
- Detail oriented, rigorous, analytical,
- Organized and adaptable to an organization in constant improvement and change,
- Capable of appropriately addressing every stakeholder of the business chain (internal and external parties),
- Environmentally conscious and keen on electric mobility.
