Job Overview:
The intern’s primary role is to assist the Asset Management team in:
- Providing in-depth analysis of Driveco’s CPO stations based of internal data, draw business driven conclusions, proactively improve the initial analysis requests given the possibility, and
- Managing the process of ensuring all commitments are met within the framework of contracts regarding Driveco’s SPVs and a portfolio of CPO operating stations as well as the pipeline under deployment.
The success of the mission relies on the candidate’s rigor, precision, and reliability.
Under the responsibility of an Asset Manager, the intern in Asset Management will work closely mainly with the junior and senior Asset Manager and in a lesser degree with the finance, legal, tech and operations teams. Curiosity, outstanding communication skills, diligence and proactiveness are qualities necessary for the role. A curious and creative mind set, an appetite for numerical analysis and the will to build relevant working tools are equally important for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Diverse Data Analysis: Regularly produce in-depth numerical analysis (data retrieval, working tools modeling, presentations) according to future or on-going projects, or requests by the Executive committee.
- Market insight: Actively surveying the market, tracking impactful changes, analyzing their impact and presenting the conclusions.
- Performance reviews: Prepare monthly portfolio performance reviews of the CPO stations based on internal data.
- Assist the senior members of the team with the key tasks of the asset management department:
- the annual budget and strategy (for assets and the SPVs)
- SPVs administrative and financial aspects in coordination with the Admin & Finance Department,
- the management of the SPVs legal affairs in coordination with the Legal Department,
- Monitoring the SPVs legal and operational commitments,
- Supervision of the performance of stations in coordination with the Operations Department.
Preferred Experience
- Fluency in English and French, an additional European language would be a plus,
- Preferably a finance/economics graduate,
- At least one previous 6-month internship in Finance / Business or Data analysis / Economics,
- Appetite and skills to process large data-sets with a critical business-oriented mindset,
- Perfect redacting skills in both English and French,
- Detail oriented, rigorous, analytical,
- Conscious of the environment and keen on electric mobility,
- Organized and adaptable to an organization in constant improvement thus change
- Capable of appropriately addressing every stakeholder of the business chain (internal and external parties).
